Benson Eye Clinic, located on Kent's East Hill is a friendly, family owned eye clinic, where we provide family vision care.  Including contact lenses, eye glasses, co-management of cataract surgery, refractive surgery, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy.   We provide you with a professional and caring staff, who are committed to giving you the highest quality service and products available today.

Dr. John Lunnen received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the New England College of Optometry in Boston. He also holds a Ph.D. degree in Physiology from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, and taught Physiology at the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri for 12 years before becoming an Optometrist.  He has practiced in the South King County area, near Seattle, since 1986.

Kathy is the Optician in our office.  She has over 25 years of experience as an optician.  Kathy has personal experience with glasses so she can empathize quite well with your own personal needs.  You'll find she is very friendly, personable and  quite knowledgeable with the most popular & up to date frames and lenses. Hella is our Office Manager.  She has extensive experience in dealing with third party claims and is tenacious like a 'bulldog' in getting Insurance companies to pay your claims.  Many of our patients have praised her on her determination to be their advocate as related to third party claims.
